Call me Coco. I am a well-seasoned human and I am here because you are here and this is the best place to be. Here we have the opportunity to form true relationship based in trust and empathy. We have the opportunity to dig into the sublime, the harrowing, the parts of ourselves we have yet to know and understand. We have the opportunity to embrace ourselves in all our complexity with compassion. We have the opportunity walk into the world, fully embodied in our imperfect perfection, in grace, and be alive.



The Story
This is the story of a life well-lived with gusto and abandon, at times in the margins, in excess, at times squarely ensconced in the heart of family and relationship. I learned joy of being of service and presence of mind from the practice of meditation.
I dove into the study of attachment theory and uncovered part of the magic of resilience: secure early attachment. I facilitated family groups based in attachment theory supporting families fiercely committed to ending the cycle of intergenerational trauma and abuse.
I connect CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), to PCT (person centered therapy) based in unconditional positive regard and empathy, to psychodynamic therapy based in the development of trust between therapist and client, me and you, grounded in attachment theory.
Through fostering a relationship based on trust and mutual respect, we will engage in a gentle examination of your current life and relationships, and an exploration of your history, connecting the past to present, allowing for healing, growth, and change. Opening your life, your emotions, your fears and your dreams, can be frightening and overwhelming! I know, I’ve been there. I am present with you to offer a space and place of understanding and unconditional acceptance. I will be there to hear all parts of you, to help you walk through shame and regret, to learn to be gentle with yourself, and to practice self-compassion.

phone consultation
Our first meeting will be a fifteen minute consultation. We'll take this time to introduce ourselves, discuss your goals and therapeutic expectations, my personal therapeutic process, and how I could best serve your particular vision.

virtual only, individual therapy
Individual therapy sessions are designed for us to develop our relationship and delve into your relationship to self and to others. We will establish your goals and collaborate on the path toward fulfillment.

group therapy (special arrangement)
Group sessions consist of psychoeducation on therapeutic methods, round table discussion sharing the process of learning who we are, how we got where we are, and how to successfully move forward in life,
